TERMS OF CONTRACT
PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING YOUR EQUIPMENT

THIS IS CONTRACT OF RENTAL ONLY. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY RETURN AND THERE ARE NO RAIN CHECKS. THERE WILL BE NO PENALTY FOR CANCELLATIONS UNLESS EQUIPMENT WAS ALREADY DELIVERED IN WHICH CASE A $10 FEE WILL BE APPLIED FOR EACH ITEM. THE RENTER AGREES TO EXAMINE RENTAL ITEMS TO BE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER AND WILL CONTACT US PELICAN RENTALS IF FOUND OTHER WISE BEFORE RIDING. RENTER AGREES TO RETURN ITEMS IN AS GOOD CONDITION AS WHEN RECEIVED, ORDINARY WEAR AND TEAR EXCEPTED. THE RENTER UNDERSTANDS HE/SHE IS TOTALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF ANY DAMAGED, LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS RENTED. THE RENTER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HE/SHE HAS BEEN GIVEN LOCKS FOR THE SECURITY OF THE BIKES RENTED AND THAT BIKES WILL BE LOCKED WHEN NOT RIDDEN. PELICAN RENTALS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REPOSSESS ANY BIKES THAT ARE FOUND TO BE USED IN AN IRRESPONSIBLE MANNER, SUCH AS THROUGH WATER ON THE BEACH OR ATTEMPTING TRICKS SUCH AS BUNNY HOPS OR RAMP AND OR CURB JUMPING ETC. OR BY NEGLECTING TO KEEP BIKES LOCKED WHEN NOT IN USE. PELICAN RENTALS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCIDENTS OR INJURIES CAUSED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY IN THE USE OF ITEMS RENTED. THE RENTER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT BIKES MAY BE PICKED UP EARLIER THAN CHECK OUT TIME ON DAY OF DEPARTURE.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  1. If you need to change your order after your bikes have been delivered, there is a $10.00 switch out fee per visit. If you are uncertain on which type of bike to order, please call us before you make your reservation. (843-785-5470)
  2. We will text/call with the location of the bike, the id numbers and the lock combination the day of delivery. If you have not received a text/call by 5:00 pm please give us a call. Remember there is not a set delivery time.
  3. Hours of Operation:
    • February 27, 2017-September 4, 2017 Sunday-Saturday (8:30am-5:00pm)
    • September 5, 2017-February 26, 2018 Sunday-Saturday (9:00am-3:00pm) subject to change
  1. If you have an issue with a bike, please notify us as soon as possible for assistance. We can’t correct any problem without you notifying us of the situation. It is our job to be at your service between 9am-3pm.
  2. Please keep your bikes locked at all times when not riding, any bikes lost or stolen there is a replacement fee. If you have changed location, please call and let a staff member know to avoid any charges for missing bikes. Lock your bikes in the same location before you depart, so we can pick them up.
